Prform Habits ("we," "us," "our," or the "App") is currently operated by Rafiel Cruz Ortega, an individual doing business as Prform Habits ("Operator"). If Prform Habits is later operated under a registered business entity (e.g., an LLC), this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the new legal operator, and that update will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Prform Habits mobile application and website (prformhabits.com), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: name, email address, and password (if you sign up with email), or basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
• Profile content: username, avatar selection/customization, and any bio or profile details you add.
• App content you create: habits, to-dos, calendar entries, notes, journal entries, and any text or data you enter into the app.
• Social/competitive features: friend connections, PR (personal record) points, and any activity visible to friends within the app.
• Support communications: anything you send to support@prformhabits.com or through an in-app support form.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to Prform Habits Premium, your payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details - Stripe handles that directly. We do receive limited billing information from Stripe such as subscription status, plan, and transaction history.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, general usage patterns (e.g., features used, session activity), and crash/error logs, used to keep the app running and improve it.
• Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can deliver reminders you've requested.
• Authentication data: handled through Firebase Authentication (Google), which may log sign-in timestamps and device/session metadata for security purposes.

1.3 Information from third-party sign-in

If you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, those providers share limited profile information with us (typically name and email) as permitted by your settings with that provider. We do not receive your password for those services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Provide the core functionality of the app (habit tracking, to-dos, calendar, notes, journal, social/friend features)
• Process subscription payments and manage your Premium membership
• Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, support responses) via our email provider, Brevo
• Send push notifications you've opted into (e.g., habit reminders)
• Monitor, maintain, and improve the app, including diagnosing technical issues
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Prform Habits. Each processes certain data on our behalf, subject to their own privacy policies:

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and app content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data within a reasonable period (our systems run automated cleanup of pending account deletions). Some information may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information (most can be edited directly in your profile/settings)
• Delete your account and associated data (available directly in-app under Settings)
• Export your data, upon request to support@prformhabits.com
• Withdraw consent for optional features like push notifications, at any time via your device settings

To exercise any of these rights, email support@prformhabits.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Prform Habits is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by your country to consent to data processing without parental approval), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If we learn that we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@prformhabits.com.

7. International Users

Prform Habits is operated from the United States. If you access the app from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

(If Prform Habits gains a meaningful userbase in the EU/UK, this section should be expanded with GDPR-specific legal bases for processing and a designated EU representative - flag this for attorney review before/if that happens.)

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (including those provided by Google Firebase and Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies and Tracking (Website)

Our website (prformhabits.com) may use essential cookies necessary for the site to function (e.g., keeping you logged in). We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated and, where legally required, a cookie consent banner will be added.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
